Here’s how the Toshiba wireless solution works. A transmitter/receiver device from Toshiba called a Wi-Fi Access Point (AP) connects the wired network. The AP is usually mounted on a wall, where it sends and receives network signals between wireless users and the wired network. End users access the WLAN with Toshiba Wi-Fi adapters that are built into our notebook computers, or with Toshiba Wi-Fi PC cards.

Each wireless LAN system typically covers up to 300 feet. One Access Point typically supports up to 30 wireless stations, and more can be added to increase capacity. In fact, the network can be easily re-designed or expanded as your needs change. Companies enjoying rapid growth will appreciate this flexibility.
